Inspiring Talks

Spiritual uplift just for you!

The label of disability can seem to take many forms and try to limit all of us. At CherishAbility, we are committed to seeing through those claims to the only true label: “God’s perfect child.” That means us, our loved ones, and all mankind.

Periodically, we offer inspiring talks to the public which are developed specifically for CherishAbility and address this label. We offer these inspirational talks to everyone looking for a spiritual perspective. Enjoy!

“Count it all joy”

A talk by Chestnut Booth, CS

“Counting it all joy (James 1:2) is a major theme in the New Testament and in Mary Baker Eddy's writings,” says Chestnut. “Why would Paul, after going through so many difficult challenges, conclude that he takes pleasure in infirmity, necessity, even persecution? Why did Mrs. Eddy tell us to kiss the cross and rejoice all the rugged way? The simple answer is: It works. It heals.” Filled with inspired and practical insights, this talk has something for everyone—parents, caregivers, Christian Science nurses, and students alike.
